Buyers (pre-purchase) Home Inspections
Our most common inspection is the buyers inspection. The buyers inspection includes a detailed written or digital report of all of the house systems that were inspected. As well a maintenance program and home repair estimate section is included. We go through the entire property inspecting each system from the roof to the foundation and everything in between. Our obligation is to observe and report a comprehensive, fair and impartial assessment of all the components of the property in accordance with our industry's "Standards of Practice" and "Code of Ethics".
Buying a home is the biggest purchase in your life.
Don’t gamble with your future; let us help you to make it the right one.
Having Affinity Inspections perform a pre-purchase inspection helps you in many ways:
- It helps reduce the risk on your purchase.
- It helps you make an informed decision on your purchase.
- We teach you about all your home components and how they work.
- We will let you know what will need to be maintained in your new home and how often.
- We will let you know of any repairs that need to be made.
- It may alert you of items of immediate personal concern, such as radon gas or mold problems.
- It will relieve concerns and suspicions.
Our Standards of Practice for Home Inspections lists everything that will be inspected.
Home Inspection Report
Our detailed home inspection report goes through every single component of the home. We have two report options. The first is a digital report that is similar in format to our hard copy report except it is delivered in digital format and includes pictures of the house components throughout the report. The second is a hard copy report that it is completed on the spot right after the home inspection is finished up. Almost all of our reports are digital in format, but if an on the spot hard copy is needed this should be requested at the time of booking. Click here to see a sample of the inspection section of the report. Also included in the reports is a maintenance checklist section as well as a budgeting section for future repairs.
